Local Students Criterias are as follows :

The criteria for Local Students are as follows:

1. Full Programme

Full Programme refers to a long-term programme implemented according to a specific level or as a single-level programme. It is designed to deliver the complete learning outcomes of one full NOSS, enabling students to be considered for the award of:

• Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM)

• Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM)

• Malaysian Advanced Skills Diploma (DLKM)

2. Micro-Credential Programme

Micro-Credential Programme is a short-term programme designed based on one (1) Competency Unit (CU) or a combination of several CUs / Work Activities (WA).

This programme focuses on specific competencies or skill sets and may lead to the award of a Statement of Achievement (PC).

3. NCS Programme

NCS Programme is a short-term programme conducted in accordance with the National Occupational Skills Standard (SKK) or National Competency Standard (NCS).

The programme emphasises specific competencies and may lead to the award of a Statement of Achievement (PC).

EXPLANATION

1. Applicant Determines the Programme

  • Refer to the Latest Standards Register (click here)

2. Obtain NOSS & Analyze NOSS Requirements

  • Obtain the National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) from the Department of Skills Development (JPK). (download here)

3. Submit the Application

  • Identify the category of the Accredited Centre (PB) (program penuh / Micro Credential / NCS)

  • Refer to the following guidelines (click here) 

  • Compliance with Accreditation Criteria and Conditions for Accredited Centres (PB) Providing Trainee Accommodation Facilities under Act 652 (click here)

  • Refer to KAPPK Guidelines (click here)

  • Refer to Micro Credential / NCS Guidelines (click here)

  • Please submit through the system www.myspike.my

4. JPK Conducts a Skills Program Verification Visit

  • PB/PLK are required to complete the report form prior to the visit:

5. Accreditation Letter & Certificate
