Additional Requirement For Skills Accreditation Programme For Heating, Ventilation, And Air Conditioning (HVAC)- Domestic/ Commercial Refrigeration Via Malaysian Skills Certification System
This is to inform that Department has decided that skills training approach for “Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC)- Domestic/Commercial” at Accredited Centres must adhere to Jabatan Alam Sekitar (JAS) or Department of Environment has issued on requirement for a person who will handle refrigerant substance which may cause harmed to the environment to obtain a certificate Sijil Pentauliahan Juruteknik Servis in Refrigerant and Cooling Sector (RAC) under JAS.
Due to this, Department has decided that skills training approach for “Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC)- Domestic/Commercial” at Accredited Centres must adhere to the following requirement:
- Additional Requirement for Certification Personnel :
Verifier / Pegawai Penilai (PP), Internal Verifier / Pegawai Pengesah Dalaman (PPD) and External Verifier / Pegawai Pengesah Luaran (PPL) must have Service Technician Certificate of Competency (Sijil Pentauliahan Juruteknik Servis) in Refrigerant and Cooling Sector (RAC) under JAS.
- Application for Accreditation :
Application for new programme will be effective on 1st September 2018
Application for renew programme will be effective on 1st June 2019
